b68d100ae0 o Next step in avoiding the need to re-compile: make hardware GPIO 
mapping choosable at run-time (and hence: via command line flag).
  Now, Adafruit HAT users don't have to recompile.

c4f5d64bd4 o Re-add a couple of options that got lost in recent cleanup. 
- -L to create 'large' chained 64x64 panel.
  - re-accept some of the old deprecated options so that things
    are not too hard on old-time users.
o Clarify documentation about 64x64 e-line hardware mod.

9ab35b2f22 o Update doc to mention successfully tested Raspberry Pi 3 
o Remove reference to realtime kernels: they are typically creating more
  trouble than benefit (8kHz interrupts keeping one core busy for 18% for
  instance).
o Point to the configuration option in cmdline.txt to reserve one
  CPU for display refresh.
